Stop what you are doing and add these Oven Toasted Ravioli to your menu ASAP! This is one of my all-time favorite recipes. I could eat the whole batch by myself. Cheese ravioli coated in bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and baked. Dip them in some warm spaghetti sauce and prepare to be wowed! Super simple and SUPER delicious!
How to Make Oven Toasted Ravioli
This recipe is very easy to make. Whisk together egg and milk in a shallow bowl. In another bowl or pie plate, combine bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Dip ravioli in egg and then in bread crumbs. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat until all ravioli are coated. Spray ravioli with cooking spray and bake.
- Can use frozen or refrigerated ravioli.
- There is no need to precook the ravioli before baking.
- You can use any type of ravioli that you enjoy. I usually use cheese ravioli.
- I use store-bought Italian bread crumbs. You can also use panko bread crumbs with some Italian seasoning mixed in.
- You can use freshly grated parmesan cheese or the parmesan cheese in the green can. I do not recommend shredded parmesan cheese. You want the cheese to have more of a powder/bread crumb consistency.
- Can I make Oven Toasted Ravioli in the air fryer? Yes! Coat the ravioli and place in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook at 350ºF for 7 to 9 minutes.
- Can Oven Toasted Ravioli be frozen? Yes! You can coat the ravioli and place them on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and freeze. Transfer the frozen ravioli to a freezer bag. You can bake the ravioli frozen and add a few minutes to the cooking time.
What to Serve with Oven Fried Ravioli
This is one of our go-to appetizer and snack recipes. These are great with pasta, pizza, and Italian casseroles! I like to double or triple the recipe and serve these at parties too. We like to serve the ravioli with some warm pizza sauce, marinara sauce, or pesto. Give these a try the next time you need an easy appetizer or snack. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
