- The Hollywood Brown Derby
- 50’s Prime Time Café
These Hollywood studios restaurants are sit-down restaurants. Disney’s Hollywood Studios does have several counter service places to eat as well.
50’s Prime Time Cafe Menu
The 50’s Prime Time Cafe Menu consists of mom’s recipes! This Disney restaurant serves up homestyle food that is just comfort food at it’s finest!
Coming soon to The Recipes Of Disney will be a 50’s Prime Time Cafe menu that you can access for your Walt Disney World vacation planning! In the meantime, you, the 50’s prime time cafe is highly recommended to eat at!
Pot Roast Dinner
One of the favorite meals to get in Hollywood Studios is the pot roast dinner at 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This tender pot roast simply melts in your mouth. The flavors that Disney chefs have put into the 50’s Prime Time Cafe pot roast dinner really do remind you of mom!
The pot roast has been on 50’s Prime Time Cafe menu since the opening of Hollywood Studios. If you want to try the pot roast recipe in Hollywood Studios, I would do a reserve dining option. It is impossible to just do a walk-in for dining at 50’s Prime Time Cafe.

Pot Roast 50's Prime Time Cafe
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Additional Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
50's Prime Time Cafe Pot Roast is a Disney Hollywood Studios favorite dish! This Disney restaurant serves a home cooked meal that will remind you of mom! You will love this Disney recipe of homestyle pot roast!
Ingredients
- 5 lb. top or bottom round roast
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 7 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1/4 c. olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Fº.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Brown the meat on all sides and remove the meat to a roasting pan.
- Sauté the cut vegetables until golden brown, and add to the roasting pan.
- Pour the beef broth into the pan to lift off all of the caramelized vegetables and beef.
- Pour liquid over the roast and cover. Cook 30-45 min. per pound.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minute.
- Serve with your favorite starch and enjoy.
