Solvang Elementary School District is seeking educators who will inspire, enhance and elevate the standard of excellence for all students. The district can offer up to 10 years of credit for salary placement. Qualified candidates must possess a current California Multiple Subject credential with a CLAD or other valid EL authorization. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required. We are currently hiring multiple positions for the 2024-25 academic year.A complete application packet will contain: 1. Letter of Introduction that includes information on volunteer work you have done within the past four years and any experience you have had instructing students in extracurricular activities. 2. Resume. 3. Copies of all college transcripts. 4. Copy of CA teaching credential and EL authorization (if separate from credential). 5. 2-3 recent letters of professional recommendation (from supervisors on letterhead).** COPIES OF DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MUST BE LEGIBLE **Failure to attach the required documents will cause you to be screened out. Employees providing proof of insurance can receive the $13,000 cash-in-lieu. $1,000 annual stipend for employees with a current BCLAD.Our first review of applications will be March 18, 2024. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview during the week of March 25, 2024.
